Home Update

I would highly recommend the team at Design Theory 19!! Early in the remodel process, I was debating on whether to sell or stay after the project was complete. My home was pretty big for just me as my two boys were getting older and moving out to school and careers. After Mindy and her team placed their finishing touches on my home, there was no doubt I was going to stay. I love my home again!! Just in time as COVID struck our world and limited most of my time to working from my home. Their ideas and vision for my home would have never been anything I could have constructed on my own.

Before the renovation, my home was very dark and not very inviting. Now, I actually receive compliments about my home!! I find myself entertaining much more and now my personality and interests show throughout the home. I have no plans on moving; not even a thought.

For future home projects, I will not even interview another firm. The team at Design Theory 19 is who I will always use.

Home Addition and Renovation

Our experience working with Mindy and her staff has been nothing short of exceptional! They are prompt, professional, very creative and respectfully mindful of our budget. They do a thorough job presenting options across all price points, and offer recommendations and opinions without pressure. They make on-site visits and are very flexible with scheduling and meeting times. They have relationships with a diverse network of vendors, and prefer to use local businesses which we appreciate.

They also offer 3-D renderings, which is often difficult to find with an interior design firm. This is a great service as it allowed us to easily see how different options such as window styles, door features, exterior materials and color palettes would look for our new construction and remodeled areas.
Mindy and her staff are extremely personable, courteous and very prompt in answering questions and providing project updates. Highly recommend!

Double Bathroom Renovation

[Design Theory 19] designed and managed the remodeling of two bathrooms in our home. The project was a major remodel and upgrade taking everything down to studs and starting over. [DT19] handled and coordinated everything including building materials selections and coordinating subcontractors. We were kept informed of the progress. The team they put together for the project were excellent. I would highly recommend them.

Master Bathroom Update

We used [Design Theory 19] on a living room project 4 years ago and were very pleased so we used them on remodeling our master bath, shower, and closets. The designers are very talented and came up with several options. Once we decided on an option they then worked with us on selecting colors, tile for the shower and floors, cabinets and fixtures. The best part of the project is that [Design Theory 19] provided total project management. They selected the carpenters, plumbers, electricians, tile installers, drywallers, painters and shower door installers. All workers took pride in their work, resulting in overall excellent quality. We would highly recommend [Design Theory 19] for any size projects.

Home Update - Kitchen, Dining, Powder Room

We just completed a whole home remodel, with the main focus on updating the kitchen, dining room and guest bath. We were referred to Mindy Hoppe at [Design Theory 19] by our contractor. Mindy was able to capture our vision after our first visit with her. She worked within the budget we gave her and always stayed within the estimates she provided. Her recommendations for products were always of high quality. We are extremely pleased with the overall results of the project and have received many compliments on the completed design. We would highly recommend Mindy to others.

Master Bathroom Remodel

I couldn't be happier with our master bathroom remodel. The design process with Design Theory 19 was excellent from start to finish. They were incredibly thorough, thoughtful, and made sure every detail was considered. Jayden was especially outstanding—her communication was prompt, clear, and consistent, which made the entire process stress-free and something we truly appreciated.

The craftsmanship from every trade involved was exceptional. K5 Construction did a fantastic job with the build-out, In the Lite provided top-notch electrical work, and Galen is hands down the most detail-oriented cabinet maker I've ever worked with. The quality and care each person brought to the project really shows in the finished space.

We now have a beautiful, functional bathroom—and best of all, a kick-butt shower that we absolutely love! We would highly recommend Design Theory 19 to anyone looking for a well-managed, high-quality remodeling experience.

Kitchen & Bathroom Remodel

Design Theory 19 was a pleasure to work with on our project. From the very beginning, their team was professional, communicative, and responsive to all our questions, which made us feel confident and comfortable throughout the entire process.

We had a strict budget that we wanted to stay within, and Jayden and Mindy were thoughtful and reasonable in developing a design that aligned with our budget while still achieving our goals and vision. They maximized our existing footprint and thoughtfully considered every detail to make the most of our space without compromising the quality or overall design.

The construction process went incredibly smoothly. They managed deliveries, coordinated timelines with their subcontractors, and worked closely with the general contractor to keep the project moving efficiently.

We could not be more thrilled with the finished result. The quality of the work and attention to detail exceeded our expectations, and our new kitchen and bathroom continue to amaze us every time we walk in.

Ceiling Painting & Wallcoverings

We were very satisfied with the ease of service throughout our project. Jayden did a wonderful job communicating with us and coordinating all of the subcontractors involved, making the entire process feel organized and seamless.

Design Theory 19 partnered with Loreto’s to complete ceiling painting and patch any imperfections in the walls and ceiling, and the quality of the work was excellent. Hannah Hettinga also did a fantastic job installing the wallcovering with great attention to detail.

Design Theory 19 offered the best wallcovering selection we found in the Wausau area, which made it easy to find something that fit our vision. We are extremely pleased with the final result and truly appreciate the professionalism, craftsmanship, and care shown throughout the project.
