Originally built in 1890, this former auto repair shop remained vacant for years following the owner’s passing. In 2024, City Tours MKE, formerly based out of Pilot Project Brewing, saw potential in the Bruce Street building as the perfect home for their fleet of electric tour vehicles. In addition to storage, they envisioned transforming the space into a dynamic gathering and event venue. The building underwent a full interior redesign in 2024, bringing new life to the historic structure, while the exterior was refreshed with a modernized façade and the addition of a welcoming patio area. This project showcases creative adaptive reuse, the entrepreneurial drive of local business, and the continued promotion of Milwaukee’s tourism scene.
