Home Update

I would highly recommend the team at Design Theory 19!! Early in the remodel process, I was debating on whether to sell or stay after the project was complete. My home was pretty big for just me as my two boys were getting older and moving out to school and careers. After Mindy and her team placed their finishing touches on my home, there was no doubt I was going to stay. I love my home again!! Just in time as COVID struck our world and limited most of my time to working from my home. Their ideas and vision for my home would have never been anything I could have constructed on my own.

Before the renovation, my home was very dark and not very inviting. Now, I actually receive compliments about my home!! I find myself entertaining much more and now my personality and interests show throughout the home. I have no plans on moving; not even a thought.

For future home projects, I will not even interview another firm. The team at Design Theory 19 is who I will always use.

Home Addition and Renovation

Our experience working with Mindy and her staff has been nothing short of exceptional! They are prompt, professional, very creative and respectfully mindful of our budget. They do a thorough job presenting options across all price points, and offer recommendations and opinions without pressure. They make on-site visits and are very flexible with scheduling and meeting times. They have relationships with a diverse network of vendors, and prefer to use local businesses which we appreciate.

They also offer 3-D renderings, which is often difficult to find with an interior design firm. This is a great service as it allowed us to easily see how different options such as window styles, door features, exterior materials and color palettes would look for our new construction and remodeled areas.
Mindy and her staff are extremely personable, courteous and very prompt in answering questions and providing project updates. Highly recommend!

Double Bathroom Renovation

[Design Theory 19] designed and managed the remodeling of two bathrooms in our home. The project was a major remodel and upgrade taking everything down to studs and starting over. [DT19] handled and coordinated everything including building materials selections and coordinating subcontractors. We were kept informed of the progress. The team they put together for the project were excellent. I would highly recommend them.

Master Bathroom Update

We used [Design Theory 19] on a living room project 4 years ago and were very pleased so we used them on remodeling our master bath, shower, and closets. The designers are very talented and came up with several options. Once we decided on an option they then worked with us on selecting colors, tile for the shower and floors, cabinets and fixtures. The best part of the project is that [Design Theory 19] provided total project management. They selected the carpenters, plumbers, electricians, tile installers, drywallers, painters and shower door installers. All workers took pride in their work, resulting in overall excellent quality. We would highly recommend [Design Theory 19] for any size projects.

Home Update - Kitchen, Dining, Powder Room

We just completed a whole home remodel, with the main focus on updating the kitchen, dining room and guest bath. We were referred to Mindy Hoppe at [Design Theory 19] by our contractor. Mindy was able to capture our vision after our first visit with her. She worked within the budget we gave her and always stayed within the estimates she provided. Her recommendations for products were always of high quality. We are extremely pleased with the overall results of the project and have received many compliments on the completed design.
